                            Dr. Kotti Sree Ramesh, Principal, Univ. College of Arts & Commerce is a professor of English. He was a Pre-Doctoral Fulbright Scholar (1999-2000) at Harvard University, USA. He has put in twenty three years of Post Graduate Teaching Experience: as Lecturer (Post Graduate Dept. of English, in Sri. Y.N. College, Narsapur,W.G. Dist. 1994 - 2005), Reader (Rajiv Gandhi Central University, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh 2005 – May, 2007), as Associate Professor and Professor (June, 2007 onwards) in Adikavi Nannaya Univeristy. He has been teaching in the areas of: British Drama, American Literature, Postcolonial Literatures, Literary Criticism and Theory, Indian Aesthetics and African American Literature. His areas of research are African American, Caribbean, African Diaspora, Indian Writing in English and Dalit literatures. He has published in various national and international journals and his major publications include a book Claude McKay: The Literary Identity from Jamaica to Harlem and Beyond published by McFarland & Company, Inc., Publishers, USA, Importance of Being Ernest, a text for Under graduate students. He has worked in various administrative positions like Head, Dept. of English, Dean, Academic Affairs and Principal of Univ. College of Arts & Commerce and Registrar. He is a member of various national committees, academic councils and governing bodies of educational institutions. He was the recipient of State Best Teacher Award for the year 2015. He visited countries like Thailand, Singapore, USA., U.K. and Cyprus on academic purposes.
