About department

    The Department of Mathematics was established in 2008 to train the young talents. It is situated in the University College of Science & Technology campus at Adikavi Nannaya University. Growing progressively, the department conducts its own Post-Graduate programs in Mathematics with moonshot ambitions of emerging it to a Centre of Excellence in the field of Mathematical sciences and its applications. In the recent years, faculty members of the department began pursuing research in many areas of pure and applied mathematics to achieve significant advances in the science and technology for the better society. The department draw attention on rigorous teaching and knowledge trainings for the students throughout the year to all the Post graduate programs. Over the years, the department of Mathematics has continued to inspire mathematical talents for stepping their careers in the prominent universities in India and all over the world. We are facilitated with well-equipped computing lab with all the latest infrastructural facilities. 5 students qualified in APSET exam who completed their PG course and so many students got jobs in reputed institutions. Also some students are pursuing their Ph.D in NITs and eminent Universities. Also the Department has one Alumni association formed by old students by name Srinivasa Ramanujan Alumni.
