About Department

The Department of Computer Science has been established since the time of inception 2006. The Department has strong roots in the form of dedicated and committed faculty members. Faculty are the backbone to the department with their Subject knowledge, Publications and Research activities. Department has good source of energy in the form of allied areas specialization by faculty in different domains like Cloud Computing, Data Science, Cryptography, Software Engineering ,Biometrics, Image Processing, Forensics, Data Analytics, IoT etc. Department focus much on Practical Orientation which is dealt in Computer labs on current technology. Labs are equipped with advanced systems configurates and advanced version Software's. Every year the expired Software is renewed timely.

And from then the Department of Computer Science goes as Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Computer Science and Engineering Department had gone one more technical depth by introducing UG Course B.Tech in 2016. Initially this course started with one branch (CSE), With this impeccable energy from faculty as well as students side, the department in organizing different workshops, conferences, FDPs etc. The transfer of knowledge to students in the class rooms is a wide range utilizations of new technology like Projectors, White board, Smart boards and of course through e-class rooms .

Computer Science and Engineering Department is proud to have students who participated in National & State level events like Hackathan and achieved awards from reputed institutions or organizations. And also every year our students receive Prathibha awards from Honourable Chief Minister. The subjects of B.Tech and MCA are a combination of core and advanced technology which bridges the gap of Academic and Industrial demands. Department also offers Ph.D for the aspirants. The Department is also proud to raise Adikavi Nannaya University flag worldwide by having the alumni working in USA, Dubai, France etc.
