About Department

The MBA department was established in 2004 to cater to the students' educational needs in the West Godavari district jurisdictional area under Andhra University. In 2017, the campus merged into Adikavi Nannaya University. The MBA department is the first department in AKNU Tadepalligudem. The department is actively engaged in research, and several articles were published by the faculty. The department is one of the active departments in the campus with an intake of 44 students through ICET counseling. It is a two-year program with a specialization in Financial Management, Marketing Management, and Human Resource Management. The students were successfully placed in several public & private sectors every year. Students were selected in campus interviews conducted at university and are placed in MNC’s. Every year, the department organizes industrial visits to get practical exposure, and many guest lectures were organized in the department with industry experts and eminent professors.

DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES – HIGH LIGHTS

  • The department has well qualified faculty of which three members are doctorate holders, four faculty members were UGC NET and AP SET qualified.
  • Four faculty members are pursuing PhD in other Universities.
  • The faculty is more engaged in research by publishing around 50 papers in National Seminars and 25 papers in International Conferences.
  • The faculty members actively participated in more than 100 Webinars, 40 FDP’s and several online courses.
  • The department is continuously organizing guest lectures by eminent personalities to enrich the knowledge of the student community.
  • Special focus on students for improving soft skills by conducting class room seminars regularly.
